Medieval well discovered at city centre cave site – 24.03.17
If you thought we’d taken you to the deepest depths of our latest cave discovery, then think again! Archaeologists have now unearthed more history at a city centre site. The team were about to hand over the keys to the construction company, when they came across a medieval well. At a possible total of twelve metres deep, the caves could be much older than first thought.
