A show focusing on celebrities travelling around Europe on motorbikes will premiere on Notts TV next week.
The Easy Riders features former motorcycle racer Steve Keys and actor Danny John-Jules, best known for playing Cat in the sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf.
The first series gets underway on Tuesday, July 4, at 7.30pm which will be repeated at 10am on Wednesday, July 5.
Danny John-Jules, Steve Keys and the BBC’s Matt Roberts will embark on an epic 1,250-mile journey from the UK to Valencia.
Each episode the trio travelling around different countries, each ride having taken seven to 10 days to complete.
The show is narrated by Chris Barrie, a comedian and actor who also starred in Red Dwarf, who takes viewers on the journey.
Danny said: “The trip was tough and really tested our mettle but ultimately it was FUN – it was a bunch of mates on the same level having a laugh!”
Steve added: “We wanted to create the ultimate motorcycle trip, and that’s what we did!
“But it’s not just about the journey – viewers get a look behind the scenes, showing the prep, the laughs, the setbacks and our shared love of MotoGP!”
Danny discovered his love for motorbikes 15 years ago after being invited to watch a MotoGP.
Afterwards he bought himself a bike and booked his training to learn how to ride.
Steve was born into a family of motorcycle racers, he began riding aged nine and was racing by the time he was 17.
Steve is also a respected motorcycle writer for Racer Magazine.
