Sam Oakford is the latest Panthers player to be called up to the Great Britain squad after replacing Jonathan Weaver.
He has impressed in the Nottingham Panthers’ defence this year playing 48 times in all competitions.
This means a total of six Nottingham Panthers players will be in the squad, forming the backbone of the team.
The Great Britain Ice Hockey are taking on the Netherlands later today in a pre-qualifying tournament for the Winter Olympics in Italy.
