Stars out for panto season at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal

Aladdin

They’re back…Oh no, they’re not. Oh yes they are! Panto tickets are on sale for this year’s production at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal.

Thousands flock to see it and Christmas and the New Year just wouldn’t be the same without it – that peculiarly British entertainment of pantomime.

This year we’ll be treated to the story of Aladdin – complete with genie, lamp and, of course, Widow Twankey.

The all-star line up includes boyband legend Simon Webbe from Blue as Aladdin, panto dame and TV personality Christopher Biggins and comedian Ben Nickless.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Theatre Royal, with Biggins celebrating his 40th year in panto.

Opening night is December 5, with the show running twice daily until January 10.

The Theatre Royal says, “This stellar cast guarantee an Aladdin’s cave of festive fun for all the family.”
