Steps have announced they will play at the Motorpoint Arena as one of the dates on their UK ‘Party on the Dancefloor Tour.’
To mark their twentieth anniversary, Steps will also be releasing a new single and album before they come to Nottingham on November 28.
The new single ‘Scared of the Dark’ comes out on Friday (March 10) with album ‘Tears on the Dancefloor’ being released on April 21, Steps’ first full album of original material since 2000.
Speaking of their new album, Steps said: “This is the album we think our fans have been waiting for.
“It was very important for us to have a hint of the past but to try to blend it into modern day music.
“We think Steps are a little bit of what everyone needs right now and we can’t wait to take our new album plus all our favourite hits out on the road.”
The band have fourteen consecutive top 5 singles, have sold over 20 million records and reached number one with three albums and three singles.
They are BRIT-award winners and hold the record for the most consecutive sold-out nights at Wembley Arena.
