Three appear in court after city stabbing

Three people have appeared in court after a man was stabbed in Nottingham city centre in the early hours of Monday.

Kylelon Francis, 19, of Whyatt Court, Daybrook, 20-year-old Lea Anderson, of Ravenswood Road, Arnold, and a 17-year-old youth were arrested and later charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Francis was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and all three appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

He and Anderson were remanded in to custody and the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was bailed until their next appearance at court, the date of which is yet to be confirmed.

The victim was treated for stab wounds in hospital and has since been discharged.
