The former Fairham Community College in Farnborough Road was significantly damaged by fire at about 7:50pm on Tuesday (May 9).

Police arrested three boys, aged 15, 14, and 13, on suspicion of arson yesterday (May 10) in connection with the incident.

They have each been released under investigation.

Around 40 firefighters were involved in the tackling the fire. No-one was hurt in the incident, but residents were asked to close their doors and windows due to the thick black smoke.
