Trams are only travelling as far the David Lane and Forest stops 24hours after services were brought to a halt because of damage caused to the overhead wires on the lines in Basford.

While trams from Hucknall and Pheonix Park can only travel to the David Lane stop.

NET, the company which runs the tram network, said damage was caused to the arm of the tram, called the pantograph, connecting to the overhead wires which caused the tram to fail and the subsequent delays.
Yesterday the company said engineers were working to repair the damage.
NET tweeted this morning: “We have a bus replacement running from the Forest, Wilkinson Street, Bulwell & Phoenix Park. NCT bus – Tram Replacement Bus.”
The company added: “We have no tram service from David Lane to the Forest. Bus replacement service in place.”
In a further update the company tweeted: “We have cross ticket acceptance with East Midlands trains from 08.00-10.00 from Hucknall through to Nottingham.”
It is not known how long the services will continue to be affected.
An NET spokesman said: “Engineers are continuing to repair overhead lines near our Basford stop following a technical fault with a tram pantograph yesterday.
“We are obviously working hard to complete the repairs as soon as possible but, in the meantime, trams from Toton Lane and Clifton South are turning at the Forest whilst services from Hucknall are turning at David Lane.
“The shuttle bus service we introduced yesterday remains in operation between the Forest, Wilkinson Street, Bulwell Bus Station and Phoenix Park.
“Cross ticket acceptance is also in place with NCT to help customers complete their journeys.
“We will continue to keep our customers up to date via our usual channels including the website, tram stop announcements, passenger information displays and on social media. We do, of course, apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
