The University of Nottingham may be in the top 100 world universities but it has fallen out of England’s top ten best places to study.

The University of Nottingham was ranked tenth last year but has dropped down two places this year, according to a Times Higher Education students’ survey, available today online.

Nearly 15,000 students from across the country took part in the survey, basing their votes on the quality of teaching, staff, lectures, atmosphere, social life and facilities.

Nottingham Trent, however, went up nine places to 31st  in best student experience.
