Votes are being counted in the key marginal seat in Broxtowe currently held by Conservative Anna Soubry.
Ms Soubry currently holds a slim 0.7% majority and will be a seat Labour, represented by Nick Palmer, will want to gain if they want to gain power in Westminster.
Recent reports suggest she will hold the seat but it could be a very close call.
Also standing are Stan Heptinstall for the Liberal Democrats, Frank Dunne for UKIP, David Kirwan for the Greens and Raymond Barry for Justice for Men and Boys.
