Nottingham-grown Boots has completed a refurbishment of its biggest store in the city.
The chain, founded in Nottingham by Jesse Boot in the 1880s, went on to become a national and international household name.
The company has now completed a re-fit of the landmark Victoria Centre store, opened on Thursday by a delegation which included Stefano Pessina, the billionaire chief executive of Walgreens Boots Alliance.
