Nottingham’s Broadmarsh car park is half rubble after demolition teams moved in last month.

Nottingham City Council plans to build a new car park in its place, but the views opened up by the work have already got people talking about what could go there instead.

The car park is going as part of a £100 million-plus redevelopment of the south side of the city, which will include a revamp of the shopping centre by owners Intu.
