Video: The forecast and what there is to do in Notts when it’s wet
Notts is forecast to have ‘changeable’ weather for the rest of the summer, according to the Met Office.
The forecast is that Notts will endure largely cloudy and wet weather however there will be the occasional ray of sun peeking its way through.
This is because of low pressure making the weather unpredictable.
It looks like it will stay changeable
Meterologist Mark Wilson from the Met Office said: “It looks like it will stay changeable and unsettled across the region.
“When we have high pressure in the summer months, we call this settled weather because it’s very consistent.
“When low pressure dominates, which is what we have at the moment and will have, we call it changeable because it varies a lot; one day will be sunny, the next showers, the next will see persistent rain.”
