A man has been charged with attempting to rape a woman on the Forest Recreation Ground in the early hours of Sunday.
Police say the victim was attacked in a wooded area at around 4.40am.
Fatsum Yowhanes, 24, of Springhead Court, Bulwell, was arrested and charged on Monday.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court earlier and was remanded in custody.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses and want to speak to anyone who was in the Forest Rec area around the time of the attack.
A Notts Police spokesman said: “If you were there or nearby and saw or heard anything suspicious or have any information, no matter how insignificant you may think it is, please call.”
