The woman betrayed by undercover cop Mark Kennedy as part of a notorious police operation has spoken of the devastating impact on her life.
Asking to be known only as Lisa, she spoke to Notts TV’s Owen Shipton as a play documenting the controversy launches at Nottingham Playhouse.
“Any Means Necessary” is at the venue until February 20.
Several female political activists were befriended by undercover Met Police officers, some even having children with them and entering into relationships lasting years.
Lisa met Mark Stone, real name Mark Kennedy, as he infiltrated Nottinghamshire and East Midlands eco-protesters.
His involvement in the group led to the collapse of a trial of six people in 2011, charged with planning a protest at Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station.
Lisa was with ‘Mark Stone’ for six years before the lies were uncovered.
