Your ‘Bodyguard’ song efforts

The stage version of Whitney Houston’s classic film The Bodyguard closed at The Theatre Royal at the weekend.

But on the final night of the show’s run there was something of a kerfuffle as an amateur songstress couldn’t seem to stop herself from singing for twenty minutes solid.

After ignoring repeated requests to pipe down, she was eventually removed by staff to cheers from the frustrated audience.

Alexandra Burke was the star of the show, playing the part of Rachel Marron, the character made famous by Whitney Houston in the film version.

We’ve been asking some Nottinghamshire people to give us their own over-enthusiastic version of the story’s signature tune – ‘I Will Always Love You’.

Here’s the result.
