A record number of beers are available this year with 1,273 different beers on offer compared to last year’s figure of 1,270.

More than 200 ciders are available along with various wines and parries.

It’s a glorious opportunity to try different types of ales

Nottingham CAMRA secretary Andrew Ludlow said: “The thing that amazes me is that 40 years ago you had a limited choice.

“These days however the range is amazing.

“There’s so many fruit flavoured beers, different type of hops, it’s just such a glorious opportunity to try different types of ales.”
