Arrest made at Nottingham building in connection with money laundering

Police arrested a man after a raid at a Nottingham building – as part of a money laundering operation.

Notts Police say a 38-year-old man was arrested today (July 6) at a property in Hartley Road, Radford, as part of an ongoing investigation into fraudulent activity.

Officers say the operation caused disruption around the Today Grill House, Hartley Road, Radford Boulevard, operating a the back of the property.

A spokesman said: “Nottinghamshire Police has a dedicated financial investigation team within its organised crime department that works with the community and partners to investigate financial crime.

“The impact of this type of crime on a victim can be life-changing and we would like to hear from anyone who has concerns or thinks they have been affected.”

Anyone with information that may help the operation is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 149 of July 6.
