Nottingham City Council has approved the Broadmarsh Centre’s planning application for a complete refurbishment, which will bring some brand new amenities to the shopping centre.

The Broadmarsh, owned by Intu, is set to undergo £150 million in improvements that include the development of a new cinema and a new entrance on Middle Hill, which is located at the bottom of Fletcher Gate in Hockley.

Adam Tamsett, general manager at the centre, was thrilled to finally get approval.

He said: “The place will have a completely new feel to it and I can’t wait for the public to see it.”

“We are so pleased to finally have been given permission.”
