Knife pulled out on victim outside Nottingham’s Victoria Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses after a member of the public was threatened by a man with a knife outside a Nottingham shopping centre.

Notts Police say the incident happened outside intu Victoria Centre on June 26.

A spokesman said: “Just inside the Parliament Street entrance at around 2.40pm, the victim was approached by the suspect, who produced a flick knife.

“He is described as a black man in his mid-20s, 5ft 11ins – 6ft, of a chubby build and had collar-length dark hair.

“He was wearing a white t-shirt with a grey tracksuit top, a black baseball cap and gold necklace. The suspect also had tattoos on his right arm.”

Anyone who may have seen the man is asked to call 101, quoting incident 495 of June 26.
