A 23-year-old man has been released on police bail following a fatal crash near Southwell.
The man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a 23-year-old woman died at the scene of a collision on Southwell Road between High Cross and Thurgarton village.
Officers were called to the incident, which involved one vehicle with a driver and the female passenger who died, at 12.30am on Sunday.
A Notts Police spokesman said: “Investigators would be interested to speak to anyone who might have seen anything at the time and would like to remind people to note that the incident happened before the clocks went back.”
