Detectives are asking for the public to help them piece together what happened to a man who was found unconscious on a street in Hyson Green.
Officers say he was discovered lying on Noel Street at about 5.40pm on Thursday, March 10.
The 31-year-old was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre, where doctors discovered he had suffered a serious head injury.
He remains in a serious condition in hospital and officers say it is still not clear how he came to be so badly hurt.
A Notts Police spokesman said: “Detectives investigating the circumstances are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious.”
