A Nottinghamshire musician rubbed shoulders with the Duchess of Cambridge when she showed her how drumming can help children with mental health problems.
Jude Winwood, from Ruddington, met Kate at London’s Anna Freud Centre, where Jude has been running rhythm workshops with young people.
The 37-year-old mum was leading a session with children on Tuesday when the Duchess paid a visit and even joined in with the drumming.
“It was mind-blowing and very humbling,” said Jude.
“I was helping to give her cues while she was drumming and at the end she came up and said thank you.
“She came across as being very down to earth and eager to get involved. She was very gentle with the children.”
The duchess was at the centre to join in with its Christmas celebrations.

Jude runs BeatFeet, which offers specialist school and corporate drumming events across the East Midlands and London.
“I use rhythm as a tool to bring groups of children together who would otherwise struggle,” she said.
“There’s no pressure like there is in a normal classroom – there’s an inclusive element to it.
“Today was amazing, I’m very proud of the children.”
