Notts Police officers are investigating a sudden death in the city believed to be linked to the illegal drug Black Mamba.
Police were called to an address on London Road at around 7.40pm on Saturday (August 12).
A 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and a 39-year-old man was admitted to hospital where his condition is said not to be life threatening or altering.
Initial investigations indicate that the men had been taking the synthetic cannabinoid drug.
Forensic examinations are still being carried out but officers want to raise awareness of the dangers to anyone who may be using it.
