Nottingham actor Vicky McClure and her long-term boyfriend Jonny Owen have announced their engagement.
The Line of Duty star and BAFTA-winner posted a selfie of the couple on social media on Thursday morning (December 28) showing off her engagement ring with the caption “YESSSSSSSSS!!!!”
The couple have been together since 2012 after meeting when Jonny cast Vicky in the film Svengali.
Jonny is also an actor but is also know for being a writer and director, creating Nottingham Forest documentary I Believe in Miracles in 2015.
Besides Line of Duty, Vicky has also starred in This is England and Broadchurch. The couple live together in Nottinghamshire.
The post attracted thousands of likes and messages of congratulations.
