Drivers were left in disbelief after seeing a car heading down the wrong side of a busy Nottinghamshire dual carriageway.
Kieran Shackleton, 18, from Forest town, near Mansfield, was heading home with his mum when he saw the car on Sunday at around 2.30pm.
It was heading west along the A617 Rainworth bypass on the wrong side of the route, which has a central reservation and a 70mph limit.
She didn’t seem bothered
As his family’s car passed, Kieran videoed the incident on his mobile phone while sitting in the passenger seat.
Kieran said: “I was in pure shock and disbelief. I was concerned for the other drivers on the road and I was was confused as to why she had just done that because she didn’t seem bothered.”
The video which has now gone viral on Facebook, attracting more than 17,000 views.
Kieran added: “After the moment on the video she continued to drive up the carriage way until she got to a lay by, she then cut across the line of light traffic and parked up, thank god nobody was injured.”
