A Nottinghamshire village got together over the weekend to play a charity football match which went on for an entire day and involved hundreds of players.
The 24-hour game from Friday to Saturday afternoon in Radcliffe-on-Trent, Rushcliffe, used pitches and an indoor hall at the local school, South Notts Academy.
School kids, mums, dads, village football club Radcliffe Olympic, and just about anyone who fancied a go took part in the mammoth five-a-side game.
All the money raised from playing fees and donations is going towards research into treatment for pancreatic cancer.
The event was inspired by local man Steve Jackson, one of the coaches at the club, who’s fighting the disease. His wife Steph came up with the idea and organised the day.
Notts TV caught up with the game on the Saturday – with just a few hours to go until the finish.
