A brand new bus and bike route is at the consultation stage with the Nottingham City Council.
The new ‘low carbon’ eastern route would connect the city to Colwick and Gedling with new bus lanes in both directions and bus priority measures which are designed to improve journey times.
A verdict on the proposal is expected by Friday June 24.
There is also a proposal for a similar western route which would connect Boots with new bus lanes with better access to park and ride features.
Consultation is expected in Summer 2017.
