Dougie Freedman continued his unbeaten start as Nottingham Forest manager after his side came from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1.
Promotion-chasing Bournemouth took the lead in the third minute at The City Ground when Andy Surman found the net from 25 yards.
However, Jamal Lascelles’ strike levelled proceedings and Henri Lansbury’s free-kick sealed the victory for the Reds.
The win leaves Forest ninth in the Championship – trailing 12 points behind the play-off places.
The Cherries, who still remain in the hunt for automatic promotion, endured their second league defeat in a row.
Surman’s sublime curled finish in the opening minutes was Bournemouth’s reward for their fine start as they dominated proceedings.
Forest managed to soak up the visitors’ opening bout of pressure and equalised when centre-back Lascelles fired home through a crowded penalty area.
The hosts then grabbed the lead just before half-time when captain Henri Lansbury converted an exquisite free-kick.
The effort from 20 yards was Lansbury’s fifth of the campaign and secured a crucial three points for the home side.
The result also extended Freedman’s unbeaten start as Forest manager to five games.
A number of Forest players took to Twitter following the game to express their delight at the result and commend fans for their continued support:
