Nottingham Castle is due to undergo a £24 million transformation designed to make it a major national tourist attraction.
Artists impressions have been released, showing a new visitors’ centre, cafe, galleries and interactive section dedicated to the Robin Hood story.
It is hoped the new designs will increase visitor numbers at the castle and make the most of the city’s connection with the legendary outlaw.
