A man has appeared in court charged with murder after another man died in hospital ten days after an alleged street attack.
Christopher Dehinsilu, 47, of Cheltenham Road, Old Basford, was arrested on Thursday and charged with murder in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It follows the death of Gary Hastings, 59, of Pear Tree Court, Old Basford, who died on Wednesday at the Queens Medical Centre.
He was taken to the hospital after he was reportedly attacked on Arnold Road, Old Basford, on the evening of Sunday, August 7.
Mr Dehinsilu appeared at Nottingham Magistates’ Court on Sunday and was remanded in custody to re-appear at Nottingham Crown Court tomorrow, Tuesday August 23.
