It was a mixed week for the city’s football clubs as good news came out of the Nottingham Forest camp when they ran out 2-0 victors over Rotherham closing the gap on the Championship play off places to eight points.
However, neighbours Notts County didn’t enjoy the same fortune as they lose 2-1 at home to Rochdale having taken an early lead.
That leaves them perilously close to the relegation zone in League One, two points above Crawley Town, with just ten games of the season remaining.
