Thousands turned out at the Forest Recreation Ground as Nottingham celebrated the 410th anniversary of Guy Fawkes’ Gunpowder Plot.
As the heavens opened, there were doubts whether people would show up at all but a bit of wet weather was not enough to put off the Nottingham folk who gathered in their thousands to see off November 5 in style.
