Notts farm park expects 90 new arrivals during lambing season

Lambing is in full swing at a Notts farm park – with around 50 born already three weeks before the season ends.

White Post Farm has just had its busiest weekend for visitors in its 28-year history – with many people coming to see the new arrivals.

Farm manager Anthony Moore said: “We’ve still got another 20 mums still to go, so I think we are expecting at least another 40.

“They’re all doing really, really well, and it’s great seeing them have plenty of time to ‘popcorn’ as we call it – when they jump up and down. ”

One of the lambs has also been picked out to be a Notts TV mascot – but it needs a name.
