It’s official – Nicklas Bendtner signs for Nottingham Forest on a two year deal

Danish international and former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has signed for Nottingham Forest on a two year deal.

Owner and chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi confirmed the signing on Twitter this morning (Wednesday September 7) with the Danish striker putting pen to paper.

This comes after Bendtner had verbally agreed a deal at the City Ground yesterday (Tuesday September 6).

Bendtner could feature against his old club Arsenal in two weeks time in the EFL Cup.

Bendtner started his senior career at the Gunners and made 108 appearances for the North London club in nine years from 2005.

He spent three seasons on loan at Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus during this time before signing for Wolfsburg in 2014; he went on to score three goals in 31 appearances for the German side.
