A man has died after being hit by a car on the A52 near Nottingham on Wednesday night.
The pedestrian was struck at around 8.50pm between Gamston Lings Bar roundabout and Radcliffe-on-Trent and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed following the incident but it has since been reopened. The man who died has not been named by police and no arrests have been made.
Officers investigating the collision have appealed to anyone who saw what happened to contact them, including anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident.
Anyone who can help is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 quoting incident number 884 of May 3.
