Notts Police have identified the body they found in Sutton-in-Ashfield as that of missing Notts girl Melanie Wilson.
The 22-year-old was reported missing from the Mansfield area on Friday October 21 after last being seen on Wednesday October 19.
Notts Police found the body in their search for her on Thursday (November 3).
A post-mortem examination was carried out today (Saturday 5 November) and the cause of death has yet to be identified but police say the circumstances are not thought to be suspicious.
Notts Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the death; officers are liaising with Melanie’s family and keeping them updated.
