A man who died after being struck by a lorry on the A612 in Colwick early on Friday morning has been named by police.
Gavan O’Neill, 38, from Gedling was hit close to the starting gate pub.
The road between Racecourse Island and Vale Road was closed for several hours following the incident.
Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to call 101.
No arrests have been made
