Search for missing Notts man Stan Shanks enters fifth day

The search for a missing Ollerton man has entered a fifth day as police continue intensive search operations.

Stan Shanks, 78, was last seen at 9.30 am Friday 29 April on Walesby Lane and was seen two hours previous to that on Little Whinney Lane.

He has to take medication and police are uncertain whether he or not he has access to it.

He is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall of broad build, balding and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a green hooded jacket, a red jumper, grey trousers and a cap.

His family have released a heartfelt appeal to Stan asking him to get in touch with them.

He is well known in the Ollerton community and police are asking people to check sheds, garages and other out buildings.
