Video: Colwick Hall Christmas Choir preview
A Colwick Hall Christmas Choir special will bring festive cheer to Nottinghamshire when the one-off special airs on Notts TV at 7pm on Christmas Eve.
The half-hour show tells the story of a choir talent contest which attracted interest from more than 40 local schools.
A shortlist of three Notts primary school choirs performed before residents of Larkhill Retirement Village in the final at Colwick Hall Hotel earlier this month – and sang their hearts out to bridge the generation gap.
Judges from Larkhill all gave intricate and technical feedback with bags of encouragement to all the schools, and interviews were held between both groups, young and old.
The process was captured by Notts TV and the show will air at 7pm on Chirstmas Eve, this Sunday, December 24.
