Appeal to trace Newark robbery suspect on the run for eleven months

A fresh appeal has been launched to trace a man wanted in connection with Nottinghamshire robbery who has now been on the run for eleven months.

Matthew Porter, formerly of St Nicholas Road and Whitehorse Lane in Boston, Lincolnshire, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery on January 11 and released on police bail.

Porter failed to answer bail and is now wanted.

He was detained in connection with a robbery at Andrew Michaels Jewellers in Stodman Street, Newark, on January 6, 2016.

Crimestoppers is offering a £2,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
