Boy, 14, out of hospital after Josh Clark death in Bramcote

Police say a 14-year-old boy taken to hospital in the same incident which led to death of Josh Clark is now at home and recovering well.

Josh, 13, was found by 999 crews called to a house on Sloan Drive, Bramcote just before 1am on Monday, February 27.

Josh was taken to hospital but died the following night.

However, a 14-year-old boy who was also found at the address and taken to hospital is now recovering.

Notts Police said in an update: “He has now been discharged from hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.”

A 36-year-old woman who was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and of causing grievous bodily harm is still on bail pending further enquiries.

After his death relatives including his mother Samantha Annabelle paid tribute to Josh, saying: “He was a very loving young boy who filled our hearts with happiness and his passing leaves us all with the biggest void that will never be filled.”

A JustGiving page set up to raise money for Josh’s funeral has since raised more than £1,500.
