Nottinghamshire Police want to speak to a man in connection with an assault at Rock City nightclub which left a woman with a broken arm.

The woman fell head first between a barrier and railing in the Talbot Street nightclub, after someone lifted up her legs while she was leaning over to retrieve her bag.

Police say injuries the woman suffered in the January 10 incident left her unable to work.

A Notts Police spokesman said: “Although the injury is healing well, the victim will never have full use of her right shoulder.

“Police are keen to speak to the man in the images and he is described as white, with blonde or strawberry blonde hair and wearing a green t-shirt.”

It is thought he was with two other white men and a woman with long, blonde hair. One of the men was wearing a t-shirt with a diamond shaped design on the back.

Anyone who recognises the man in the images or has any information is asked to contact Notts Police on 101.
