A fire has severely damaged a house on one of Nottinghamshire’s most expensive streets.
Firefighters were called to Beeston Fields Drive, at around 4am on Tuesday morning after the detached home caught fire.
Around five fire crews were involved in fighting the blaze, which is now under control.
Firefighters say no-one was hurt as the house was unoccupied at the time. It was undergoing significant building work.

Beeston Fields Drive was named as the most expensive street to live on in the county by Halifax in 2008, and last year property website Zoopla listed it as the most expensive in the wider Nottingham area, with an average home value of £1.2 million.
