Police want to speak to this man in connection with a series of Notts card skimming crimes.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with a wave of cash machine ‘skimming’ crimes across Nottinghamshire.

Officers say someone attached the devices to machines at the TSB bank on Nottingham Road, Eastwood on June 12.

Called ‘skimming’ the crime involves fitting a duplicate card reader over the real machine slot.

The concealed device copies details from a user’s card. Criminals then either film their pin number being entered with a hidden camera or watch over the victim’s shoulder.

The stolen data is then used to ‘clone’ someone’s card or bank details to steal money.

A Notts Police spokesman said: “It is also believed the same male is responsible for similar offences in West Bridgford and other areas within Nottinghamshire.

“The male in the images is wearing a baseball cap with a sleeveless padded gillet jacket with a white ling sleeved top underneath light coloured jeans and red trainers.”

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Notts Police on 101 quoting incident number 283 of June 12.
