A Nottingham man who appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ court on Thursday July 14 charged with terrorism offences has been remanded in custody.
Ryan Counsell, 28, of Russell Road, Hyson Green was arrested on Monday (July 11) morning following an investigation by Notts Police and the North East Counter Terrorism Unit.
Counsell has been charged with two offences of Section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
No evidence suggests that anyone was at risk with the incident believed to be ‘intelligence led.’
