Appeal for witnesses to A60 crash which caused ‘profoundly serious’ injuries

Nottinghamshire Police are asking for witnesses to come forward who may have seen a “profoundly serious” crash on the A60.

The collision happened between Ravenshead and the Seven Mile Inn on a stretch of the road sometimes known as ‘devil’s elbow’ at around 10.05pm on February 13.

Det Sgt Ged Hazelwood from the serious collision investigation unit said: “This is a serious investigation and your evidence could be absolutely vital.

“Several occupants of the vehicles received profoundly serious injuries but thankfully for all involved, everyone is now in a stable condition.”

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision and potentially spoken to an officer but have not yet been contacted by the police to come forward with any information.
