Nottinghamshire Police investigate gun fire in Bestwood assault

Police continue to search for anyone involved in connection to a serious assault during which a gun went off.

A 19-year-old man was rushed to hospital with injuries to his forearm following the incident, but it’s unclear whether he was shot.

Police officers are still at the address on Laybourn Drive, which is where the gun was fired.

Officers believe the firearm was set off at 1pm on Sunday 24 May.

No arrests have been made as investigations continue.
