Nottinghamshire fast bowler Jake Ball has taken a wicket in his first ever over of one day international cricket for England.

England are playing Bangladesh in the first ODI today (Friday October 7) and Ball struck in the tenth over of Bangladesh’s innings after coming on as the first change of bowler.

The Notts seamer bowled a slower ball which Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal skied toward James Vince who took the catch fielding at cover.

It was also the first wicket to be taken by England in the match.

He then quickly followed this with his second wicket in the third over of his spell thanks to David Willey catching the ball at deep mid-wicket.

Willey caught the ball and then threw it in the air as he stepped over the rope and then caught the ball again after stepping back inside of the rope.

Bangladesh are currently chasing after England scored 309/8 in their 50 overs.
