New tram bridge named after Sir Peter Mansfield to mark 40 years since the QMC opened – 28.07.17

The QMC is celebrating forty years since it was officially opened by the Queen herself. The anniversary’s been marked today with the opening of a brand new pedestrian bridge – which links the hospital to its tram stop and in a fitting tribute, it’s been named after MRI pioneer, Sir Peter Mansfield, who died earlier this year. Hugh Casswell’s been to take a look.
